Response to Richard

Richard’s comment on my July 1 post, “Who are we supposed to pray to?” deserves a response that will take two separate posts.

Richard points out, “Since all three Persons are God, it’s OK to pray directly to any of them. Traditionally, though (just to keep ourselves organized!), we usually pray ‘to’ the Father, ‘through’ the Son ‘by’ the agency of the Holy Spirit.”

This is theologically sound and it reminds me I meant to end that post with a comment my husband Jerry made when he read it: “When we pray, we’re talking to all of Him.”
