Knowledge and wisdom

“Oh the depths of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!” Romans 11:33-36

According to Roget’s Thesaurus, the opposite of knowledge is ignorance and the opposites of wisdom are absurdity, folly, stupidity. Therefore, since “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,” if we don’t acknowledge, respect, revere, honor, yield to and fear what God can do to you, we’re ignorant. We haven’t begun to learn anything.

And since “The fear of the LORD is the foundation of wisdom,” if we don’t acknowledge, respect, revere, honor, yield to and fear what God can do to you, we’re stupid. According to the Thesaurus, we haven’t begun to develop depth, profundity, judgment, acumen, common sense, horse sense, practicality, sapience, sagacity, discernment, subtlety, discrimination, prudence, discretion, diplomacy, tact, rationality, advisability. . .”

It’s in the Bible.
