What we won’t need in heaven

What we won’t need in heaven (in no particular order): deodorant, mouthwash, Aspirin, Band-aids, crutches, casts, walkers, wheelchairs, money, clothes, eyeglasses, hearing aids, false teeth, food, cars, air-conditioning, snow shovels–or any other kind of shovels–tire chains, telephones, computers, door bells, refrigerators, newspapers, radios, TV, mosquito repellant. . .

What we won’t need to do in heaven (in no particular order): wash dishes, fold laundry, cook, pay taxes (or fill out tax forms), weed or fertilize, diet, exercise, pump gas, fix anything, sleep, pray, worry, bathe. . .

  1. No food? What about the marriage supper of the Lamb, and Jesus’s statement that he would not drink any more wine until He drinks it anew with us in Heaven? And, of all the things we won’t do in Heaven, you left out the most important one: sin.

Just trying to keep you out of trouble, my dear!

The marriage supper of the Lamb! Of course! I have never been so happy to be wrong. On the other hand, I think my point still stands that we won’t NEED food (for survival).

Hmm, we will drink wine with Jesus in heaven. That’ll be a first for some fundamentalists who won’t drink it down here!

Of course we won’t sin in heaven (or on the renewed earth). I didn’t claim my lists were exhaustive. That’s what those elipses are for–everything else.

    I love it! Thanks.
