Iconic American art: Graffiti

Actually, I’m pretty sure graffiti is universal and dates back to cave paintings. Here are some samples on a wall I photographed from the Rocky Mountaineer as it brought us into Kamloops, Canada.

I remember the words “no peel” formed by nails pounded into a door at Christ Church, Oxford, as a protest against the Prime Minister Sir Robert Peel who was in office from 1841–1846.
