All the way through the recent presidential campaign, I was wishing I were a cartoonist–or knew one. Or even knew how to use PhotoShop. I would have put the face of Alfred E. Neuman–“What? Me Worry?”–in the center of Obama’s logo.
I’d draw the U.S.S. United States as an ocean liner with Commander Obama on the bridge, dramatically pointing a driver–“Forward!”–directly at an immense iceberg.
But I am not a cartoonist nor the daughter of a cartoonist and we are told in Scripture to honor the authorities God has placed over us. So I’ll keep these thoughts to myself.
