Where do you all come from?

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?

–From Eleanor_Rigby by the Beatles

This blog has just taken its 20,000th hit (over a period of 20 months). According to my resident math expert Jerry, if all those hits were accounted for by you 38 followers, you each came to this blog more than 526 times or 26.3 times a month or 6.1 times per week. That’s a humblingly loyal following.

Or maybe you checked it out once a week and 16,732 random people blundered upon it once and never came back.

In either case, to all of you who read some or all of these 477 posts, thank you for your company.

I pray you are not lonely.

With seven billion neighbors on this planet, I should be lonely? No way!

Besides, if that fails, I have my cats.

  2. With cats, who needs people?

Good job Jessica. Can you believe that your namesake (my granddaughter Jessi) is 13 years old today? Where does the time go? Allean
